in conjunction with the Sporting Dog Spectacular. Results
in conformation qualify for the Fair
Dinkum.

Approved Judge: Thomas
Alexander
Thomas Alexander, who lives in
Ste.Anne MB, has bred English Springer Spaniels, German Shorthaired
Pointers and Miniature Longhaired Dachshunds under the Thomashenry
prefix since 1980. Thomashenry German Shorthairs were No.
1 in the breed in 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 1996. The kennel
also bred the only GSP to win Group at the World Show, back
in 1992, who was also No. 1 Sporting Dog and No.3 All Breeds
in South America. Mr. Alexander has judged Sporting Dog Specialties
in both Canada and USA. Labrador Retrievers are a more recent
addition to the Alexander home and kennel.
Sweeps Judge: Brenda Wilson
Brenda Wilson is from Vancouver Island. Brenda started
in the show game with the purchase in 1980 of an Old English
Sheepdog for obedience. Brenda was soon hooked on the sport,
and husband Dale joined her when they acquired their first
Golden Retriever in 1984. Since then there have been many
Goldens in their lives, competing in conformation and obedience.
They have also owned and bred German Shorthaired Pointers
and then bred their first Labrador litter last year. Brenda
also owned a Flat-coat which she trialed to WCI and JH. Brenda
and Dale now share their home with 7 Goldens and 3 Labradors.
Brenda has served on the boards of the Nanaimo Kennel Club
and the Golden Retriever Club of Canada and is one of the
founding members of the Sporting Dog Club of BC. Brenda is
currently on permit for half of the Sporting Group.
