The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is fortunate that it doesn't require a large rescue organization in Canada, but occasionally Tollers need a little help out of unfortunate situations.
A few dedicated Toller breeders and lovers of the breed have stepped forward to ensure that Tollers in need of new homes receive a second chance.

Flame is a 9-month old Toller. He is neutered and up to date on all of his vaccines. Flame is deaf, but that does not slow him down one bit. He is learning hand signals for all of his obedience commands. He is a smart guy, and has had no problem learning new things.

Flame is a funny guy! He is extremely friendly and loves other dogs and children, and well, pretty much everyone, because everyone is a friend in Flame's world. He enjoys playing with his toys and will throw them around for himself if you won't play with him.

Flame also LOVES going for walks and is a dream on leash. He walks right beside you to make sure he knows where you're going. He also loves the water!

Flame is house trained and crate trained, though he will sometimes cry in his crate if he knows that there is activity going on outside. But he sleeps through the night in his crate without a peep!

He is constant entertainment and is such a nice boy to have around!
